AMOS M&P V5.4 Released

Xantic has launched an upgrade of its AMOS Maintenance & Purchase enterprise solution and the shipboard application AMOS Express. The new 5.4 version of AMOS M&P offers a range of extra benefits for maritime users. AMOS M&P is a maintenance management system for the maritime industry, designed to meet the demands of fleet owners and managers aiming to improve operational performance and profitability. A range of enhanced functionalities have been designed to offer even greater support to core business processes in the maritime industry. The demand for more detailed finance reporting has resulted in a new accounting module in AMOS M&P. This module is comprised of Account codes (registration of the types of expenditure and recording of used resources) and Cost Centres (separate financial areas where expenditure is registered against records of used resources). Another asset for AMOS M&P is the Stock Optimizer module. This has been developed to analyse stock usage and provide recommendations on the minimum stock quantities required to achieve a balance between the cost of retaining spares compared to predicted breakdown. The new version of AMOS M&P also includes various additional functionalities. For example, a work flow maintenance option allows users to customise their way of processing maintenance management so that it is more in line with in-house business processes. An RTF Editor has also been included next to budget enhancement and audit trails.
