New Vladivostok LNG Terminal Project on Track
At a recent meeting of Gazprom's Management Committee, Chairman Alexey Miller noted that the project was progressing rapidly and on schedule ā the first train of an LNG plant will be commissioned in 2018. Bosch Rexroth Launches Powerful Direct Drive
The new Hägglunds CBM hydraulic motor from Bosch Rexroth, taking over from the Hägglunds Marathon motor, reportedly packs 50% more torque into a motor that is smaller and up to 50% lighter than its predecessor. Acording to the manufacturer, that gives it the worldās highest torque-to weight ratio. Bosch Rexroth said the Hägglunds CBM not only handles heavier workloads, but also takes up less space and places less weight on the drive shaft.
CMA CGM Records Mixed Q3 Results
The Board of Directors of CMA CGM Group, the worldās third largest container shipping group, met under the chairmanship of Jacques R. Saadé, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, to review the financial statements for the third quarter 2013. During the period, consolidated revenue amounted to $4.1 billion, up 1.4% over the second quarter and down 2.1% year-on-year. Volumes carried rose by 11% year-on-year to 3 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), a new historical record for the Group.
