Ocean Aero has designed a 'game-changing' ruggedized surface & sub-surface vessel: the "Submaran", powered by wind and solar, capable of several months at sea that can be deployed from land, sea or air. The designers will present it at the Blue Tech & Blue Economy Summit, November 7-8, 2013. The "Submaran" will be delivered both as a system for purchase and as a part of a contracted System as a Service (SaaS) fleet of data gathering vessels that customers need not purchase or manage.

Pacific Radiance Chooses Ulstein PSV design
Singapore based Pacific Radiance Group ordered two platform supply vessels (PSV) of the Ulstein PX121 design for construction at a Chinese yard. The vessels are estimated for deliveries in Q2 and Q3 2015. The contract includes options for two more vessels. The Pacific Radiance Group is currently managing more than 120 vessels. âAfter researching a few designs we found that the PX121 design suits our targeted markets in the best possible wayâ, said James Pang in Pacific Radiance.
