The Istanbul Governor's Office said that two Turkish-flagged ships collided in the Sea of Marmara off Istanbul on?Wednesday. Contact has been lost with the other ship. The Turkish-flagged Alsu and the Turkish-flagged Tugberk Imamoglu collided at 3 a.m.

Turkish Cypriot Media reported that one person died when a boat capsized with 270 people aboard off North Cyprus Sunday. Erhan Arikli, Turkish Cypriot Transport Minister, told Anadolu one person died when the ferry capsized. Erhan Arikli said that there were 267 passengers on board.

The Tunisian authorities announced on Thursday that they had recovered the remains of the last missing migrants from a boat which sank last week off the coast, bringing the total death toll up to 14. Tunisian Observatory for Human Rights said that the boat carried mostly young people.
