LCE Get $5.5-Million US Navy Logistics Contract

Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) has been awarded a $5.5 million contract by the Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Puget Sound, Washington to provide process support to the U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC).

LCE will work with the planning and engineering departments to develop and issue job summaries and task-group instructions in the Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) system for carriers and surface ships ported in Yokosuka, Japan.

Life Cycle Engineering explains that they have provided planning and estimating services to support U.S. Naval Shipyards for over 10 years. The U.S. Navy continues to experience a loss of civilian employees due to retirement, budgetary constraints or hiring freezes. Responding to this need, LCE employs experienced, highly-qualified subject matter experts to help offset high turnover and to meet unique surge requirements of Navy Shipyards. Many of the LCE employees are experienced shipyard professionals that have a thorough understanding of shipyard policies, procedures and the AIM system.
