C&C Marine & Repair Delivers Double-Hull Tank Barge

C&C Marine & Repair has delivered CTOW 330, a new double-hull tank barge designed for bunker service and built to support modern fuel-handling requirements across lakes, bays, and sounds service routes to Colonial Towing.Measuring approximately 297'06" x 54'00" x 16'00", CTOW 330 has a nominal cargo capacity of about 28,000 U.S. barrels and features a flush deck extending the full length and breadth of the vessel. The barge is designed for U.S. Coast Guard authorization for Subchapter “D” cargoes

VPS has seen an increase in the levels of shale oil components in marine fuels bunkered recently in Singapore. Although we have received no reports of problems, from vessels using these fuels, we do recommend caution as detailed below:Over the course of February and March 2026, VPS  testing identified 90,000mt of delivered VLSFO bunkers containing compounds consistent with an Estonian Shale Oil derived stream. Titan Clean Fuels and TURN2X Agree e-Methane Supply Deal

Titan Clean Fuels has signed an off-take agreement with green energy supplier TURN2X to deliver e-Methane to the maritime industry from 2028 onwards.Titan operates seven bunker vessels and is able to deliver in around 52 ports today.TURN2X’s modular and load-flexible production plant in Miajadas, Spain, converts renewable energy and biogenic CO₂ into ISCC-certified e-methane. This green fuel is then fed into the grid and transported to major European ports, where Titan bunkers it to ship operators.E-methane can achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on a well-to-wake basis

Singapore Bunker Sales Eased in February

Marine fuel sales in Singapore softened in February after two months of strong seasonal volumes, according to the latest data from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), while trade sources said demand has strengthened in the first half of March.
