Dockwise has won The Royal Association of Dutch Shipownersā KVNR Shipping Award for its bowless heavy-cargo ship Dockwise Vanguard. MAN Signs Contract with COSCO
MAN PrimeServ Shanghai has signed two significant maintenance contracts with COSCO, the state-owned Chinese shipping group, during the Marintec 2011 maritime exhibition in Shanghai. Collectively, the contracts add up to a value of more than Euro 4 million. The first contract covers the retrofit of 32 vessels from the COSCO Bulk Carrier fleet with slide-fuel valves. It also includes the retrofit of 7 + 6 vessels with Alpha Lubricators, giving a cumulative value of more than Euro 2 million.
OIMOS Expands Operations
Offshore Inland Marine and Oilfield Services (OIMOS) today announced plans to expand operations at the Port of Pensacola thanks to shore-side improvements at the Port allowing more vessel service calls at Offshore Inlandās growing subsea support business base there. These plans include the installation of a 1200-amp shore power terminal, and a pier-side sewage discharge station to allow for additional service and support for Port of Pensacola customers.

International oilfield services company, Reservoir Group, has announced the acquisition of Mudlogging Services Inc (MSI), the US-based developer and supplier of the MLogger series of gas detection systems. Founded in 2001, MSI is headquartered in Grand Junction, Colorado. From this base, the company leases its specialised systems and software to a number of major operators and independent oil and gas companies across the US and worldwide, including Mexico, Africa and Eastern Europe.
