Hornsea One Offshore Wind Farm Breaks Record

MHI Vestas Confirms Scotland Offshore Wind Order

MHI Vestas Offshore Wind will supply 100 turbines for the 950-megawatt (MW) Moray East offshore wind farm in waters off the northeast coast of Scotland.Under the contract, MHI Vestas will deliver one hundred of its V164-9.5 MW offshore wind turbines for the project in the Moray Firth. Ørsted Concludes Deepwater Wind Acquisition

Danish wind energy giant Orsted completed its previously announced takeover of Deepwater Wind from D.E. Shaw group in a deal valued at $510 million.The company closed the transaction of acquiring 100% of equity stake held by D.E. Shaw group in Deepwater Wind, which was announced in October this year, after securing approval from the US competition authorities.The new combined organization—Ørsted US Offshore Wind—will be able to deliver clean energy to every coastal state in the densely-populated east coast corridor between Massachusetts and Virginia.

New York Seeks 800 MW Offshore Wind

Qatargas, PetroChina Sign 22-Years LNG Supply Deal

Damen Shipyards Group has signed a cooperation agreement of understanding with clean energy startup Skoon Energy to further advance the energy transition underway in the shipping industry.Skoon was founded in 2017 by Daan Geldermans and Peter Paul van Voorst, two students of the Delft University of Technology. Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) announced the delivery of the LNG carrier CESI Lianyungang, which was ordered by the joint venture of China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited (CCSC) and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC), at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Hudong) on May 31. The CESI Lianyungang is the sixth vessel in the China LNG Transportation Project announced in April 2013, and will sail under a long-term charter transporting LNG that SINOPEC purchases from the Australia Pacific LNG Project.
