MacGregor, part of Cargotec, said Wednesday it had received a significant order to supply comprehensive packages of RoRo equipment for two PCTC vessels to be built by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd in South Korea.The vessels are scheduled to be delivered to the owner between the second quarter of 2026 and the third quarter of 2026. MacGregor to Equip Grimaldi's New Car Carriers

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has received a repeat order with a total value of more than €20 million for comprehensive packages of RoRo equipment for a total of five Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTC) vessels. These vessels will be built at China Merchant Heavy Industries for Grimaldi Group. MacGregor to Supply RoRo Equipment for Sallaum Lines' LNG PCTC Vessel Duo

Marine equipment firm MacGregor, part of Cargotec, said Thursday it had won a large order for RoRo equipment packages for two dual-fuel LNG Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessels. The PCTC vessels will be built at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. for Sallaum Lines. MacGregor to Equip Cobelfret CLdN RoRo Pair

MacGregor to Deliver RoRo Equipment to Two K Line Pure Car and Truck Carriers

Cargotec's MacGregor said Thursday it had won a large order to supply RoRo equipment for two 6,900 CEU Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTC).The ships will be built at Shin Kurushima Toyohashi Shipbuilding Co.,Ltd. for K Line (Kawasaki  Kisen Kaisha, Ltd) in Japan.The first vessel is scheduled to be delivered to the owner in the first quarter of 2025 and the second in the second quarter of 2025. MacGregor’s scope of supply consists of design, supply, and installation assistance for a stern ramp, a side ramp, three sets of movable ramps, a ramp cover, and a mobile deck lifter for each vessel.

MacGregor to Supply All-electric RoRo Equipment to Four PCTC Vessels

MacGregor reports it has been selected to supply equipment for four new roll-on, roll-off (RoRo) pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) vessels to be built by the Guangzhou Shipyard International Co., Ltd for H-Line Shipping, Korea.The vessels are scheduled to be delivered to the owner starting in the second quarter of 2024 and are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.MacGregor, part of Cargotec, said it will supply all-electrically operated RoRo equipment, including quarter ramps, side ramps, internal movable ramps and rampway doors to each of the four vessels.

Color Line Extends Maintenance Deal with MacGregor

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, said it has signed a five-year service agreement with Color Line. This agreement is an extension to previous contracts between MacGregor and Color Line and now includes all vessels in their fleet together with their Norwegian and Danish terminals.The order was booked into Cargotec’s 2022 second quarter orders received. The contract is effective from now until 2027.In the scope of supply there are two annual inspections (the pre-dock and “preseason”) of the RoRo equipment and steering gears on seven vessels and five linkspans for a period of five years.

MacGregor to Deliver RoRo Equipment for Four New Höegh Autoliners’ PCTCs

Cargotec's MacGregor has won a deal to deliver comprehensive packages of RoRo equipment for an additional four Aurora class Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs). The vessels will be multi-fuel and zero-carbon ready, and the order will extend Höegh Autoliners’ Aurora class newbuilding program to eight vessels, all of which will be built by China Merchant Heavy Industries (Jiangsu) Co.,  Ltd.The order for MacGregor's scope, valued at more than $15 million, was booked into Cargotec’s 2022 second-quarter orders received.

MacGregor's Equipment for Polish RoPax Ferry Trio

Cargotec's MacGregor said Tuesday it had secured a significant order for the supply of RoRo equipment to three hybrid-powered RoPax ferries.These RoPax ferries will be built at Poland's Remontowa Shiprepair Yard for the Polish ferry company Polskie Promy, part of Polska ƻegluga Morska (PƻM). MacGregor has been selected to supply comprehensive packages of RoRo equipment for the three low-emission vessels powered by four LNG engines of dual-fuel type with battery assistance (hybrid).

WWL, Baltimore Port Ink 30-Year Deal

Administration to serve the Port of Baltimore for another 30 years to 2045. The contract is expected to generate 2,500 jobs over the next three decades. Baltimore is the leading auto and RoRo port in North America, and WWL ranks as its top RoRo customer, with more than 200 people employed at its terminal. The new contract, which replaced a 20-year deal set to expire in 2021, supports nearly 1,000 jobs at the port and another 1,500 jobs created by WWL’s business in the state. Governor Larry Hogan, who was among the 150 guests attending the event on December 3, spoke of the importance of WWL’s commitment to the port as well as the larger community.

MacGregor to Supply Package for RoPax Ferry

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has secured a new contract from the Meyer Turku Shipyard for a complete turnkey delivery of RoRo cargo access and handling equipment for an environmentally friendly RoPax ferry under construction for Estonian ship operator Tallink. The 49,000gt, 212m long liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual fuel powered ferry complies with the latest strict regulations for emission control areas (ECAs) including the Baltic Sea. Designed to carry 2,800 passengers, it will operate on the shuttle route between Tallinn and Helsinki. MacGregor's RoRo equipment package includes a bow door, bow and stern ramps/doors, front and rampway doors

MacGregor RoRo Cargo Access Package For Ferry

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has received a contract from German shipbuilder Flensburger-Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG) for a comprehensive RoRo cargo access equipment package. It is destined for an LNG-powered RoRo ferry that will be constructed at the yard for the Australian owner, SeaRoad; an option remains for one more vessel package. At 181m, it will be the largest RoRo ferry with LNG propulsion and the first vessel of this type built by FSG. Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016. The ferry will serve SeaRoad's planned new regular liner service across the Bass Strait between Melbourne on the Australian mainland and Devonport on the Australian island of Tasmania.

MacGregor Wins Damen RoRo Contract

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has secured a contract from Dutch shipbuilding group, Damen Shipyards, for the design and delivery of key components for RoRo access equipment for two 80m ice-class RoPax ferries destined to operate in Canada. The investment in these new vessels is part of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Government's vessel renewal programme. The first ferry is scheduled for delivery in 2015 and will operate on the Fogo Island and Change Islands service. The second is scheduled for delivery in 2016 and will operate on the Bell Island service.

China RoRo Equipment Contracts for Macgregor

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, wins orders worth around EUR 10 million for cargo access equipment for 4 car carriers to be built in China. The orders are for the equipment of four 6,700 unit Pure Car/Truck Carriers (PCTCs). The order for two of the vessels was received from Samjin Shipbuilding and the order for the other two was received from Jinling shipyard, where the internal ramps for the vessels will be electrically operated. Cargotec Secures Large MacGregor RoRo Order

In October, Cargotec received a large order to deliver MacGregor RoRo cargo access equipment for four 45,000 dwt container/RoRo vessels for Italian container shipping specialist, Ignazio Messina & C. S.p.A. The ships will be built at the STX Jinhae shipyard in Korea and the MacGregor RoRo equipment will be delivered between the last quarter of 2013 and the second quarter of 2014. Each MacGregor shipset includes a quarter ramp, stern door, ramp covers and doors, division doors and a power pack. "RoRo equipment is an integral part of a vessel's cargo-handling capability," says Magnus Sjöberg, Sales Director for RoRo ships.

Hyundai RoRo Equipment Contracts for TTS

Norway's TTS Marine wins two contracts from Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries to supply RoRo ramps and doors TTS Marine AS, Bergen has through its subsidiary Company TTS Marine AB in Gothenburg, Sweden entered into two contracts with shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries for delivery of RoRo equipment being doors & ramps totaling a value of 49 MNOK. Deliveries will take place respectfully in 2012 & 2013. Bergen-headquartered TTS is a global enterprise that designs, develops and supplies equipment for the marine and oil and gas industries. The operations are split into three separate divisions: Marine, Offshore Handling Equipment and Port and Logistics. TTS is one of the top three largest suppliers in its specialized market segments.

New MacGregor Orders for CargoTec

Cargotec secures MacGregor RoRo equipment orders for two Mistral-class ships. Furthering Cargotec’s reputation for specialist RoRo expertise, the company has secured a contract to supply and install MacGregor RoRo equipment for two Mistral-class naval ships. The order is booked during the fourth quarter of 2011. Cargotec signed the contract with STX France, which will undertake the construction of the ships at its Saint-Nazaire shipyard under a subcontract with fellow French yard, DCNS. The 199m multi-role vessels were co-designed by DCNS and STX. Cargotec’s delivery will include the design, hardware and installation of MacGregor RoRo equipment. The first ship will be delivered in 2014 and the second will be delivered in 2015.
