Wagenborg Nedlift has expanded her crane fleet with a brand new 700 tonnes mobile crane. With this crane the fleet is significantly strengthened. This DEMAG AC-700 is a 9-axle crane with impressive dimensions. The crane has a 60 meters main boom and can carry a maximum of 160 tonnes counterweight.
Rosneft Starts Up Field Work in the Kara Sea
On July 24 this year, research vessel Geolog Dmitry Nalivkin sailed from Kirkenes (Norway) to the Kara Sea. In the next three months 2D seismic survey, will be carried out in the three Vostochno-Prinovozemelsky licenses. The field work will be conducted in the surface area that totals almost 7 thousand square kilometers, and its results will help identify and delineate drillable oil and gas prospects. A pre-project meeting was held on board of the vessel just before it sailed off to the site.

Statoil's 2Q 2014 Results
Statoil's second quarter 2014 net operating income was NOK 32.0 billion, a decrease of NOK 2.3 billion compared to the second quarter of 2013. Dredging at Jurong Port, Singapore
Dredging work will be carried out at Keppel Shipyard Benoi Road, off West Jurong Channel, from 28 July to 30 September. Dredging works will be carried out by the grab dredgers. The grab dredgers will be held by 4-point anchoring system and each anchor position will be marked by a yellow buoy, Fl Y 3s. The dredgers, with hopper barges in attendance, will have a circular safety working zone of 50-metre radius centred at the dredgers.
Exxon eyes expanding Texas refinery
Exxon Mobil Corp is considering a multi-billion-dollar plan to expand its Beaumont, Texas, refinery into the country's largest, the first major refining investment of the U.S. shale oil boom, people with knowledge of the deliberations said. The expansion of the 344,600 barrel-per-day (bpd) Beaumont refinery, if carried out, would be completed by 2020 and potentially double its size with the addition of a third crude distillation unit (CDU), the sources said.
