KSI Production Pte Ltd (KSI), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Keppel Corp. says it has agreed to acquire 50 ordinary shares representing a 10% interest in Golar Hilli Corporation, which owns one Moss LNG carrier. Golar Hilli is the owner of the Moss LNG carrier HILLI which, as announced on 3 July 2014, is scheduled to be converted into a Floating Liquefaction Vessel (FLNGV) by Keppel Shipyard Limited, another wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.

Moose Boats Deliver Patrol Boat to NYPD
Boat designer and manufacturer in the San Francisco Bay Area, Moose Boats, said it has delivered a M2-35 Catamaran Patrol Boat to New York City Police Department’s Harbor Unit. The 35 foot all-aluminum catamaran vessel is a sister ship to NYPD’s three existing Moose Boats M2- 35 catamarans, the first of which has been in service since December 2009. The vessel will be responsible for patrol, search and rescue, recovery and dive operations in New York Harbor and the East and Hudson Rivers.
Big Laker Aground in Straits of Mackinaw
At 6:30 p.m., Thursday, a search-and-rescue controller at Coast Guard Sector Sault Ste. Marie received a report from the crew aboard the motor vessel American Spirit, a 1004-foot U.S. flagged freighter, stating that they ran hard aground on muddy/sandy bottom at Round Island Passage, located between Mackinac Island and Round Island. The motor vessel was transiting to Gary, Indiana, with 64,800 tons of iron ore. The crew reported being pushed against the south side of the channel by strong winds.
