The Great Lakes Towing Company completed an Intermodal Short Sea barge move utilizing the Port of Cleveland’s Rail Loop and the Port’s switching line, Cleveland Harbor Belt Railroad. Gibdock Wraps Up Repair Work for Grimaldi
The Grande Angola left Gibdock on Tuesday following the on-time completion of a scheduled package of repair works, the shipyard reported. The project covered work on the second vessel in a two-vessel contract between Gibdock and Grimaldi Group, the multinational logistics group specialized in the operation of roll-on/roll-off vessels, car carriers and ferries. Hydro Deck Delivers Ichthys LNG Project Modules
AG&P ALE Ventures Pty Ltd., an Australian-based consortium says it has successfully deployed its proprietary mobile port solution, the Hydro Deck, to deliver the first modules to the Northern Territory’s largest-ever construction project, the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project. Over the course of the project, the Hydro Deck will offload more than 200 large, pre-fabricated modules from sea to ground, overcoming Darwin’s twice-a-day, up to eight metre tidal variations.
