Tanzania has held talks with France's Total and Britain's BP over oil and gas exploration, its energy ministry said on Saturday, aiming to add to major companies active in its thriving energy sector. Companies already present in the east African state include Norway's Statoil, Brazil's Petrobras, Royal Dutch Shell , BG Group and Exxon Mobil.. USCG Closes Siuslaw River Bar Entrance
The Coast Guard Captain of the Port Sector Columbia River in Warrenton, Oregon, issued the closure of the Siuslaw River bar entrance due to hazardous conditions at approximately 2 p.m., Saturday. The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Lance Cpl. Sean P. Neal, 19, of Riverside, California, died Oct. 23, in Baghdad, Iraq, from a non-combat related incident. The incident is under investigation. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, whose headquarters element deploys from Camp Pendleton, California.

Costa Diadema Presented in Marghera
Costa Diadema the fifteenth ship and new flagship of Costa Cruises fleet, was presented today by Costa Cruises and Fincantieri. Costa Cruises has invested a total of around 550 million euro in the construction of the Costa Diadema at Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera. The project has involved approximately 1,000 shipyard workers plus another 2,500 subcontractors and about 400 contracted suppliers, most of which are Italian firms, engaged for the fitting-out of the interiors of the cruise ship.
