The WTO released on 28 October 2014 new editions of its key statistical publications: International Trade Statistics, Trade Profiles, World Tariff Profiles and Services Profiles. The four publications provide a detailed breakdown of the latest trade developments. International Trade Statistics 2014 provides a detailed overview of world trade up to the end of 2013, covering merchandise and services trade as well as trade measured in value-added terms.

General Dynamics to Upgrade Peruvian Navy Helicopters
General Dynamics Canada has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract to upgrade four SH-2G Super Seasprite helicopters with an integrated mission system to enhance the operational capability of the Peruvian Navy and its ability to meet the demands of modern maritime missions. The contract, facilitated by the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), the Government of Canada's international government-to-government contracting organization, includes the acquisition of five helicopters by Peru.

Wärtsilä Propulsion and Design for Two OSVs
Two new 150-ton-bollard-pull anchor handling offshore support vessels (AHOSVs) being built at the Colombo Dockyard in Sri Lanka have been designed by Wärtsilä and will be powered by Wärtsilä integrated propulsion systems. The order was placed in August and the equipment is scheduled for fast-track delivery in July 2015. The 78-meter-long vessels will be employed for anchor handling operations in offshore sector applications.

Oshima-built Grain Carrier Delivered in the US
Today the first unit of a new bulk carrier developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) was delivered to Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) of the U.S., following its completion at Oshima Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. of Nagasaki, an MHI licensing partner. The newly delivered bulk carrier is the first of three vessels, designed to serve as grain carriers, ordered by ADM in 2011 from Sumitomo Corporation.

SMC to Provide Marine Coordination for Siemens
Specialist Marine Consultants Ltd (SMC) have been working with Siemens, providing offshore marine coordination for a fifth Siemens Wind Power construction project. The Butendiek offshore wind farm in the North Sea began construction in early 2014, and is due for completion mid-2015.
