Willard Marine's Patrol Boats for Philippine National Police
The United States Department of State awarded a contract to Willard Marine, Inc., to provide the Philippine National Police Maritime Group with patrol vessels equipped to conduct search and rescue operations along Philippine maritime borders. This contract marks the third time Willard Marine has been chosen to provide military vessels to the Philippines. Willard has also developed boats recently for international military use by the Navy of Ukraine and the Nepalese Army.
General Counsel Sjöbring Quits Transocean

NYK's First RORO Terminal in S. Arabia
NYK signed a joint-venture agreement with Ports Development Company (PDC)* to establish NYK’s first exclusive RORO terminal operating company at King Abdullah port (KAP)** on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia. This terminal named KAP RORO Terminal, which is the first exclusive RORO terminal in Saudi Arabia, is planned to commence full operations by 3rd quarter 2016. The joint venture will be the first automotive logistics base for the NYK Group in the Middle East.

Wärtsilä's BWMS for Bernhard Schulte Vessels
Eleven container vessels owned by Bernhard Schulte GmbH & Co. KG, based in Germany, are to be retrofitted with Wärtsilä Aquarius Ballast Water Management Systems (BWMS). This is one of the largest single retrofit contracts thus far issued for BWMS solutions. The contract was signed in July. In July, Jotun and Dalian Ocean Shipping Company (a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Ocean Shipping Company, Cosco Group), celebrated the 10,000th application of SeaQuantum, Jotun’s premium antifouling, to their 297,336-dwt tanker, Cosrich Lake.
