DP-capable Crew Boat Delivered by Gulf Craft
Incat Crowther designed 'CrewZer Class' 58m Catamaran Crew boat, 'SEACOR Lynx', is the first of two to be constructed in the Louisiana shipyard. SEACOR Marine pioneered the use of large, fast catamarans in the offshore industry with the commissioning of the innovative SEACOR Cheetah in January 2008, and SEACOR Cougar in April 2009. The operator takes this evolution further with the SEACOR Lynx, and sister ship SEACOR Leopard, currently nearing completion at Gulf Craft.

Police Patrol Boat Delivered by Kvichak Marine
Kvichak Marine Industries deliver the 'Patrol 28', a 28’x 9’3” all-aluminum vessel to the Boston Police Department Harbor Unit (BPD). Designed by Kvichak/Amgram Ltd., UK and built by Kvichak Marine, the Patrol 28 is effective for operation in port and coastal waters, including shallow areas. APT Contracts NASSCO to Build Four Tankers
American Shipbuilder General Dynamics NASSCO, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, announced that it has entered into a contract with an affiliate of American Petroleum Tankers (APT), a company majority owned by funds managed by Blackstone on behalf of its investors, for the design and construction of four 50,000 deadweight ton LNG-conversion-ready product carriers with a 330,000 barrel cargo capacity. The contract includes options to build four additional ships.

New bulk ship CSL Tecumseh made its maiden voyage to the Port of Redwood City on Wednesday, May 29. Named after a respected war chief of the Shawnee Indians in the early 1800s, Tecumseh brought 40,000 tons of construction aggregates from the Orca Quarry in British Columbia. The material was delivered to Cemex Aggregates, a major port tenant. This is an essential material for ready-mix concrete plants from Santa Rosa to San Jose.
