Vantris Energy Sells Heavy-Lift Vessel Interest to Larsen & Toubro

Vantris Energy, formerly known as Sapura Energy, has divested its 40% equity stake in L&T-Sapura Shipping to joint-venture partner Larsen & Toubro for total consideration of about $30.5 million, as part of a broader portfolio optimization strategy.The transaction includes equity consideration as well as the full repayment of an outstanding shareholder loan and accrued interest owed to Vantris Energy. DOF Group gets Extension for Pipelay Support Vessels in Brazil

DOF Group ASA ("DOF") is pleased to announce that three PLSVs (pipelay support vessels) owned through a joint venture between DOF (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%) have secured contract extensions with Petrobras in Brazil.Skandi Vitória and Skandi Niterói have had their current contracts extended from Q4-2025 until Q1-2027. The 3-year contracts announced in June 2024 will now commence following the extension period. Skandi Açu has had its current contract extended from Q3-2026 until Q1-2027.

Saipem’s pipelay vessel Castorone has crossed the Bosphorus Strait in Türkiye, continuing its journey toward the Black Sea for a pipeline installation job as part of the second phase of the Sakarya project for Turkish Petroleum - Offshore Technology Center (TP – OTC).In the early hours of December 26, the vessel crossed the Dardanelles Strait, covering a distance of 36 nautical miles in approximately six hours.In the afternoon, it continued its journey through the Sea of Marmara.

Seatrium Secures Two CCS Retrofits

Seatrium has secured multiple contracts for repairs and upgrades, with a total value of S$100 million ($760 million) from various long-standing partners and regular customers.The projects will be completed by Q12025 and include carbon capture and storage (CCS) retrofits, major repairs on yachts, cruise ships, LNG carriers, offshore vessels, tankers as well as damage repairs.Year to date, Seatrium has secured two CCS retrofit projects. Announced earlier this year, the first project is for Solvang ASA, Norway, involving the ethylene carrier Clipper Eris which is scheduled for November 2024.

Petrobras Puts Two Techdof’s PLSVs Back to Work

Petrobras has awarded contracts to Techdof, a joint venture between DOF Subsea and TechnipFMC, for two of its pipelay support vessel (PLSVs).Petrobras extended the existing contract for PLSV Skandi Açu to mid-2026.
