South Korean shipbuilding firm Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) has earlier this month delivered a floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) to Excelerate Energy.The FSRU, named the Excelerate Sequoia, is Excelerate Energy's tenth FSRU vessel. Containers Lost from Barge Near Hawaii
At least 21 containers were lost form a barge traveling from Honolulu to Hilo, Hawaii on Monday, the U.S. Coast Guard said. Nine of the 40-foot containers lost from the Young Brothers barge Ho Omaka Hou have been located, while another 12 are still missing, according to the Coast Guard. The barge was being pulled by the tug Hoku Loa at the time of the incident. No injuries have been reported.The operator reported the containers fell overboard from the 340-foot barge at 4:30 a.m. Monday.

New research led by the National Oceanography Center (NOC) has discovered how fast-moving waterfalls under the sea control the shape and behavior of submarine channels. These underwater channels are the offshore equivalents of rivers, but can be much larger. Submarine channels can extend for tens to thousands of kilometers offshore, providing an important conduit for the transfer of sediment, nutrients and pollutants, such as microplastics, to the deep-sea.
