Nobiskrug inks deal an 83-m Superyacht PROJECT ORKAN

Nobiskrug signed a new build contract with superyacht brokerage Burgess, along with Harrison Eidsgaard Design, to design and build a six deck 83-m superyacht. Dubbed PROJECT ORKAN the styling comes from the strong trio Harrison Eidsgaard studio, based in London. The vessel will feature a hybrid propulsion system including batteries in order to significantly reduce fuel consumption as well as electronic anchoring to protect sensitive areas.

The PC6 luxury expedition yacht Crystal Endeavor recently cruised out of MV WERFTEN in Stralsund, Germany.The vessel, which had been built from 2018, was named by Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig on June 26. The 20,200 GT Crystal Endeavor measures 164.5 x 23.4m, touted as the world’s largest luxury expedition yacht, able to accommodate 200 passengers and offers a 1:1 crew to passenger ratio.“Crystal Endeavor” is now en route to Iceland and is scheduled for a July 15 arrival in Reykjavík.

$279m Royal Yacht a 'Good Idea'

The British government's plans to build a 200 million pound ($276.3 million) successor to the Royal Yacht Britannia, which was retired in 1997, are a good idea, Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng said on Monday."I think it is a good idea actually," Kwarteng told Sky, though he said there was still a discussion in government over the plans. "It's a huge amount of money.""What it does is it represents Britain - it is a symbol of Britain and if you are going on trade missions - that is exactly the way we would drive trade," he said.

Sea Cloud Spirit has been delivered to Sea Cloud Cruises from the Vigo, Spain shipyard, and its maiden voyage is set for September 14, 2021, for a 10-night roundtrip Rome to Rome. Earlier this week, after a nearly year-long process, the Ft. Pierce and St. Lucie County and Derecktor Shipyards signed a long-term agreement for the development and operation of a megayacht maintenance, repair and refit facility at the Port.According to Derecktor the new shipyard will be unique in the U.S. as it is reportedly the first facility designed and built specifically toaccommodate power and sailing yachts in the 200 ft. plus range.Derecktor Ft.
