Vigor Industrial inform that the owner of Seward Ship’s Drydock has signed a letter of intent to sell the assets of the Seward, Alaska, shipyard company to Vigor Industrial. Seward Ship’s Drydock operates as a full service shipyard and drydock facility, in Seward, Alaska. Ships Remove More Chemical Materials from Syria
The Danish-led maritime Task Group participating in Operation RECSYR successfully shipped out the second batch of chemical materials from the Syrian Arab Republic in support of the UN-OPCW Joint Mission as mandated by UN Security Resolution 2118. The chemical materials were verified by UN Joint Mission personnel before being loaded onto the Danish merchant vessel ARK FUTURA and the Norwegian merchant vessel TAIKO in the Syrian port of Latakia.

Shell Suspends Alaskan Offshore Drilling

BAE Systems Launches Jackson Offshore PSV
BAE Systems today launched the first of four platform supply vessels it’s building for Jackson Offshore Operators, LLC. Aker Sells Mooring and Loading Unit to MacGregor
Cargotec's MacGregor has completed the acquisition of the mooring and loading systems unit from Aker Solutions. Cargotec announced the agreement to acquire the unit in October 2013 for an enterprise value of approximately €180 million. The unit will be consolidated into MacGregor's results as of February 1, 2014.
