Hamburger Lloyd holds Singapore naming ceremony for the China-built 5000 TEU container ship 'RHL Fidelitas'. The 5000 TEU container vessel RHL Fidelitas, was built by Jiangnan Changxing Heavy Industries shipyard and is the third ship of this kind in Reederei Hamburger Lloyd’s fleet. The vessel was named with the traditional bottle of champagne smashed by Jennifer Ritter the wife of Mr Michael Brandhoff, Technical Director at Hamburger Lloyd.
Leevac Wins Deal to Build PSV Pair for Aries Marine
Leevac Shipyards Jennings LLC, Jennings, La., signed contracts with Aries Marine, Inc of Lafayette, La., to build two LEEVAC Design Services “LDS” 270 DE PSV, a 270 x 56 x 21.5 ft. diesel electric Platform Supply Vessels (PSV). “We are very excited to have this opportunity to begin this partnership with a company like Aries Marine” said Christian Vaccari, President of LEEVAC.
