DOF Bags Shell’s Decommissioning Contract for Knarr and Gaupe Fields

DOF Secures Multiple Subsea Service Contracts in Asia Pacific

DOF Set to Bring in $30M From Two New Projects

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Group has secured two new projects – one in the North Sea and the other in Asia Pacific region – whose combined revenue is expected to bring in $30 million to the company. The first contract for DOF covers engineering, procurement, removal and disposal (EPRD) for a North Sea operator, including the project management, engineering, logistics and execution of an FPSO cessation project. According to DOF, it will disconnect, transport and pre-moor the floating unit, and retrieve and recycle the mooring system.

DOF Charters Jones Act-compliant Vessel for Work in the Gulf of Mexico

DOF Group announced it has struck a deal to charter a Jones Act-compliant offshore support vessel (OSV) for work in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.The Norwegian-based company said it is time chartering Bordelon Marine's ultra light intervention vessel Connor Bordelon for a one-year period starting in March 2024. The deal includes an option for an additional year.Built by Bordelon Marine Shipbuilders in 2013, the 257-foot-long DP2 vessel is equipped with a SMST 60-ton active heave compensated (AHC) crane with 3,000 meters water depth capabilities.

DOF Sells PSV Skandi Captain

DOF Rederi, a fully owned subsidiary of Norway's DOF Group, on Wednesday entered into an agreement to sell the 2004-built, medium-size platform supply vessel (PSV) Skandi Captain to an undisclosed international buyer.The vessel is slated to be handed over to its new owner in the first quarter of 2024. DOF did not reveal the sale price but said the sale will have a "positive accounting effect".The 74.3-meter-long Skandi Captain is a MT 6009-FSV design PSV built by Myklebust Verft in Norway.

DOF Secures Three Service Contracts with Petrobras Worth Over $260M

Norwegian offshore support vessel firm DOF said Monday it had won three new service contracts with the Brazilian oil firm Petrobras."The contracts were originated by a competitive bid process won by DOF and include work within our core service lines for Survey and Inspection," DOF said.These contracts represent a continuation of the services handled by DOF on the PIDF123 contracts signed with Petrobras in 2020 and under operation since December of that year.According to DOF, at least three vessels will be deployed to perform flexible pipeline, risers, and subsea equipment inspection in Campos Basin, Santos Basin, and Espírito Santos Basin. More than 3,200 inspections are expected to be executed.DOF did not say which vessel exactly would be deployed for these projects.

DOF Awarded Subsea Work off West Africa

Norway-based DOF Group on Monday announced it has been awarded a contract for one of its vessels offshore West Africa.The deal will see DOF's construction support vessel (CSV) Skandi Acergy support operations to install subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) for an unnamed "tier 1 contractor and operator" in West Africa, DOF said. The 156.9-meter-long vessel was built in 2008.DOF labeled the contract as "significant", worth between $80 million and $100 million. DOF Charters Havila Phoenix CSV. Wins Contracts in Atlantic Region

Offshore vessel operator DOF Group is pleased to announce multiple new contracts in the Atlantic region and the long-term charter of the construction support vessel Havila Phoenix.In the Atlantic region, DOF said it had secured an Integrated Field Support Vessel (FSV) contract with an international operator in West-Africa. The contract is for 365 days firm, with 365 days of options. DOF said it would deliver project management, engineering, procurement and logistics within deep-water construction and maintenance of existing subsea infrastructure. The company will use the Skandi Seven vessel for the project.Also in the Atlantic region, the company said it had secured multiple FEED studies towards prospective floating wind developments in the Atlantic region.

PaxOcean to Convert PSV to Cable Layer for Triasmitra

PaxOcean said its Nanindah Mutiara Shipyard in Indonesia has secured a contract to convert a platform supply vessel (PSV) into a submarine cable laying vessel (CLV) for telecoms company PT Ketrosden Triasmitra.The PSV is the Norwegian-built Skandi Sotra, previously acquired from Norway's DOF Group.As part of the conversion, the vessel will be equipped with a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) and plough system. The vessel is scheduled to be delivered early in the second quarter of 2023.

DOF's Norskan Clinches AHTS Deals with Petrobras

Petrobras Takes DOF AHTS on a Three-year Charter

Brazilian oil and gas company Petrobras has awarded a contract for DOF Group's AHTS vessel Skandi Rio.DOF said Thursday that the vessel would support Petrobras' exploration and production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf. The vessel is owned and operated by DOF's subsidiary Norskan Offshore. DOF other subsidiary DOF Subsea Brasil Servicios will be responsible for the ROV operations. The contract duration is for three years with an expected start in December/January. Petrobras will have an option to extend the contract for another year.Built in 2007, Skandi Rio is a Brazilian built and flagged AHTS vessel equipped with Work Class ROV's for operations down to 3.000m water depth.

Petrobras Awards Long-Term Mero Deal to DOF's Skandi Salvador Vessel

Norwegian offshore vessel owner DOF has won a contract with the Petrobras-led Libra consortium to provide a multi-purpose support vessel for work at the Mero offshore oil field in Brazil.The Libra Consortium is led by Petrobras - with a 40% interest - in partnership with Shell Brasil (20%) ; Total (20%), CNODC (10%) and CNOOC Limited (10%). The contract for DOF is for three years, and DOF will deploy its Skandi Salvador vessel that will operate 2 x WROV for 24 hours providing inspection, maintenance, and subsea commissioning services in water depths of up to 2,500m, including shallow dive services with Oceânica. DOF Wins AHTS Contracts in NZ

Norwegian offshore supply vessel (OSV) operator DOF has won work for two anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) contracts to support OMV's drilling operations in New Zealand.Two  AHTS vessels, Skandi Emerald and Skandi Atlantic, have been contracted to support drilling rig COSL Prospector for two wells firm plus two options for additional wells.Both vessels are currently supporting the same rig with another Operator in New Zealand, and commencement with OMV will be on completion of this campaign during Q4 2019.Mons S. DOF Bags Subsea Contracts

DOF Subsea has been awarded several contracts securing utilisation of personnel and vessels in the Subsea IMR Projects segment. DOF Subsea has been awarded a contract in the Atlantic region by MHI Vestas Offshore Wind for the Skandi Constructor. The contract will commence at the end of Q3 and secures utilisation until the end of 2018. The Asia Pacific region has been awarded several contracts securing ROV and diving work for Skandi Singapore through Q4 2018 for several clients in the Asia Pacific region.A month ago, Petrobras has awarded DOF Subsea Brasil a contract for utilization of the Brazilian built OSV vessel Skandi Salvador. The 650 days firm contract (plus 650 days extension by mutual agreement) will commence in July. Skandi Salvador is currently working for Shell Brasil.

DOF Sells Skandi Marstein

Norwegian supply shipping company DOF sold and delivered the 1996 built platform supply vessel (PSV) "Skandi Marstein" to a new owner. The sale will not have any significant liquidity impact or impact on the accounts. The vessel has been in lay up since late autumn 2017. The sale is in line with DOF Group's strategy to divest in the oldest part of the fleet. Last month, Skandi Niteroi, a Brazilian built pipelay support vessel (PLSV) owned by the joint venture between DOF Subsea (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%), awarded a contract by McDermott on the Atlanta Project for Queiroz Galvão. Under the joint venture agreement, TechnipFMC is responsible for the engineering and management of the flexible pipelay, while Norskan S.A., a DOF ASA subsidiary, is responsible for the marine operations.

DOF Inks Two PSV Contracts

The DOF Group has been awarded two contracts for the provision of the multipurpose support vessel (MSV) Skandi Skansen and the platform supply vessel (PSV) Skandi Caledonia in the Mediterranean. The contracts will commence in 4th quarter and secure utilisation of 90 days plus options for the Skandi Skansen and 300 days plus options for the Skandi Caledonia. The Skandi Skansen is a new generation high powered anchor handling vessel designed for field installation operations across a wide range of water depths and environmental conditions. Skandi Skansen is also classified as a CSV as the vessel is well equipped to carry out construction support activities. Skandi Calendonia is a PSV characterized by large deck space and broad cargo handling capability.

The DOF Group said a Norwegian limited company not owned by DOF has signed an agreement with Olympic Shipping to purchase two vessels, Olympic Commander and Olympic Hera. DOF and the new owner have entered into an agreement for management and operation of the two vessels, and DOF has an option to purchase the vessels at a price corresponding to the outstanding debt or approximately 50-60 percent of historical build costs. DOF Wins Petrobras Contract

Norwegian offshore service company DOF has been awarded a charter contract by Brazilian energy major Petrobras for its pipe-laying support vessel Skandi Vitória.   The contract will commence in January for 532 days. The vessel is owned through a joint venture with Technip.    Skandi Vitoria is the first pipe-lay vessel built in Brazil, equipped with vertical and horizontal pipe-lay systems, a 250 mt crane and 2 ROVs. The vessel is capable of operating in water depths up to 3,000 meters.    Mons Aase, CEO of DOF, said that the contract “confirms the DOF Group’s strong position in the South America region.”   In January, DOF was awarded a three-year firm contract by Total Austral in Argentina for anchor handling tug supply vessel Skandi Pacific.
