Partnership to Test Sustainable Marine Bio-Fuel Oil

IKEA Transport & Logistics Services, CMA CGM, the GoodShipping Program and the Port of Rotterdam have announced they will cooperate in a first of its kind partnership to test and scale the use of sustainable marine bio-fuel oil. GAC Handles First Tanker at New LNG Terminal

GAC has handled the first tanker to berth at the newly constructed Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal inside Kamarajar Port, Ennore in Chennai, India. Kalmar Bags Uruguay Terminal Order

The provider of lifting solutions Kalmar has agreed a deal to supply seven terminal tractors and six forklift trucks to the Rio Estiba terminal in Nueva Palmira, Uruguay.The Cargotec group company said that the order was booked in Cargotec's 2018 Q4 order intake with delivery scheduled to take place in Q2 of 2019.Rio Estiba provides port logistics services, including loading and unloading of cargo, coordination of intra-port operations, in-terminal transport, and administration and cargo handling in port warehouses.

Europe's logistics services provider Neele-Vat Logistics and the Port of Rotterdam Authority have signed a contract for the development of a distribution centre on the last vacant lot at the City Terminal site near Eemhaven (Heijplaat-Rotterdam).According to a press release, the logistics service provider will be using the new distribution centre for ‘cross-docking’: unloading cargo from an incoming transport unit and combining it with other cargo which is then loaded onto an outbound transport unit.

A.P. Moller - Maersk Grows Across the Business

In the third quarter of 2018, A.P. Moller - Maersk progresses in the strategic business transformation, reporting growth in both Ocean and non-Ocean with a total revenue increase of 31% to $10.1bn, 12% excluding Hamburg Süd. Growth in non-Ocean was at 15%, which now contributes 31% of total revenue. Four New Crew Boats for Allianz

Damen Shipyards Group has delivered four new Fast Crew Suppliers (FCS) 2610 to Allianz Middle East Ship Management. Adnoc Fleet Slashes Carbon Emission 23%
