Statoil Says Normal Operations at In Amenas Gas Plant Resuming
Normal operations are resuming at the In Amenas gas plant in Algeria 18 months after a raid by Islamist militants killed forty employees, one of the plant's operators, Statoil, said on Monday. "The corporate executive committee has decided that ordinary rotation is to be resumed at the plant as all defined security measures have been implemented," Statoil said in a statement. The plant is operated by BP, Statoil and Algeria's Sonatrach.
Gazprom Neft Starts Oil Production, Shipments from Iraqi Badra Field
Russia's Gazprom Neft said on Monday it started commercial production and shipments of oil produced at its Iraqi Badra oil field. Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of state gas company Gazprom , said that first oil was to be delivered via Iraq's pipeline system to the export terminal in Basrah. "Current deliveries from Badra to the pipeline stand at over 15,000 barrels of oil per day and this level should be maintained until the end of 2014," the company added.

Bulk Equipment is Delivered to Syzran Refinery
A reactor and a cold high-pressure separator is delivered to the site of Rosneft subsidiary Syzran Refinery for the constructed diesel hydro-treater. The unit is designed for the removal of sulphur and nitrogen compounds, as well as of other solids to improve diesel-fuel and to bring its environmental specifications to Euro-5 level. The weight of the reactor is 400 tons, the length is 36 m, and the diameter is 4.5 m.
