Gruppo Fratelli Cosulich strengthened its shareholding in FEMO Bunker, born from the vision of Capt. Chemical Bunkering Tanker Ordered
Fratelli Cosulich Group placed an order for another 7,999 dwt IMO2 chemical bunkering tanker at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., which when delivered in Q4 '26 will bring the company's total number of methanol-ready barges to four.This newbuild vessel is designed to carry fuel oil, biofuels up to B100 and methanol. IBIA Appoints New Directors
Following an election, the International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has appointed Robin Meech (Marine and Energy Consulting) and Ciric Cheung (Fratelli Cosulich Bunkers HK) to its board from 1 April 2012. They replace previous IBIA chairman Mike Ball (Gearbulk UK) and Mustafa Muhtaroglu (Energy Petrol) who have served seven and nine year terms of office respectively. Trevor Harrison was re-elected to serve another term. The announcement was made at the IBIA Annual Dinner in London by Vice Chairman Nigel Draffin who, as previously announced, becomes Chairman on 1 April.

Fratelli Cosulich Mourns Loss of Chairman
Callisto Gerolimich Cosulich, chairman of the multi-faceted shipping group Fratelli Cosulich, passed away on September 5, 2007, at the age of 95. Callisto Cosulich had been group chairman since 1977, when he took over from Mario Cosulich, his cousin. He was still quite active in the business, albeit on a reduced scale, attending the Trieste headquarters of the company every day. Callisto Cosulich was a past president of the Trieste Ship Agents’ Association, as well as a member of the board of the Bank of Italy.
Fratelli Cosulich Develops Bunker Chain
Fratelli Cosulich has taken a further step in its strategy to become a fully fledged physical bunker supplier controlling the whole chain by taking delivery of the third of its new high capacity bunker tankers. The 6,500 dwt Emma Cosulich was delivered last week from China's Sopo shipyard at Zhengjiang and follows two similar vessels, the Maria Cosulich and the Teresa Cosulich, which are currently operating in the port of Singapore as bunker barges. Investment in the barges was the first step in extending control of the bunker chain. Currently Fratelli Cosulich is negotiating storage facilities in Singapore and plans to buy full cargoes of bunker fuel from Middle East producers.
